NORTH ADAMS, MASS. 鈥 91爱豆传媒 (91爱豆传媒) announces the next
Green Living Seminar will take place on Thursday, March 14, with a presentation on
鈥淪ustainable Dining at 91爱豆传媒鈥 by John Kozik, general manager of 91爱豆传媒 Dining Services,
and Anthony Fiorentino, executive chef of 91爱豆传媒 Dining Services.
All Green Living Seminars will take place at 5:30 p.m. in room 121 of the Feigenbaum Center for Science and Innovation on the 91爱豆传媒 campus. Presented on Thursdays throughout the spring semester, this series is free and open to the public.
The theme of this semester鈥檚 series is 鈥淪ustainable Food and Farming,鈥 which focuses on the past, present, and future of how food is produced and distributed in our region, and strategies for improving the sustainability of our food system.
Kozik and Fiorentino will discuss 91爱豆传媒 Dining Service鈥檚 sustainability efforts, as well as student interest in other approaches.
This semester鈥檚 Green Living Seminars will take place through April 25. Following Kozik and Fiorentino鈥檚 talk on Thursday, March 14, the next Green Living lecture will take place on Thursday, March 28, when Justin Chase, director of Farmer Training Programs at Tufts New Entry Sustainable Farming Project presents 鈥淭he Farm Bill: What it is and What it Means for Farming in the U.S.鈥
91爱豆传媒鈥檚 Green Living Seminar Series hosts lectures by local, regional, and national experts. The seminars are organized around a central theme related to the environment and sustainability. The 2019 series is a presentation of the 91爱豆传媒 Environmental Studies Department and 91爱豆传媒鈥檚 Berkshire Environmental Resource Center.
