Thanks to the generosity of benefactor Arlindo Jorge, 91°®¶¹´«Ã½ will remain at the cutting-edge of educational theory and practice. Jorge established The Evelyn H. and Arlindo Jorge Visiting Professorship in Education, the first endowed chair in the 91°®¶¹´«Ã½'s history. Jorge, an eminent electrical engineer, donated the fund in honor of his late wife, who graduated from the College in '44 and dedicated her life to education.
The Fund allows 91°®¶¹´«Ã½ to bring scholars of exceptional merit to campus, making 91°®¶¹´«Ã½ an important destination for world-leading educational scholars.
