The Berkshire Environmental Resource Center (BERC) at 91°®¶¹´«Ã½ was established in 2005 to advance student and faculty research, promote environmental awareness and preservation throughout the community, and serve as a resource center for students, faculty, and community members. 

The goals of the BERC are to strengthen the educational experience in environmental areas and sustainability, both for students at 91°®¶¹´«Ã½, and for the community that benefits from BERC programming. Further, the BERC strives to serve as a model for educational outreach.
